Jeffery David Klotz (born January 13, 1977) is an American entrepreneur, author, father, speaker, and husband. He is the founder and operating manager of The Klotz Group of Companies, a vertically integrated and comprehensive private equity real estate investment platform operating in over 20 States throughout the US. Klotz first gained success in the real estate industry as a young businessman and later became best known for his work in the private equity real estate investment space. In high school, Klotz started an investment real estate business purchasing single-family properties. The business quickly grew to a portfolio of 30 homes; this success led to the acquisition of several supporting industries, including construction and property management. He has hired more than 250 employees to service the multifamily sector, and became one of the “fastest growing businesses of 2000” to manage, repair, renovate, and contract for the apartment industry. The business became the third largest such company in Jacksonville, Florida.

In 1995, Klotz acquired NPI Services, which became known as The Klotz Group of Companies, LLC. The business serves as a parent organization to numerous operating subsidiaries including; AmveStar Capital, LLC.; American Management Group of North Florida, LLC.; Just Multifamily, LLC.; Apartment Asset Advisors, LLC.;TKC Construction Group, LLC.; Rent Ready Fast, LLC.; Tierra Linda Development, LLC.; Tryon Street; ResiLux Real Estate; ResiLux Management; Ponte Vedra Capital; Times Square Printing; Island Printing. Klotz's investments have included 125,000 apartment units, 42 developments, and numerous other real estate projects. Klotz has delved into other sectors such as advertising, mail order/e-commerce, healthcare, fitness, commercial printing, automotive, and manufacturing.

Peter Burrus joined AmveStar Capital, LLC as a Managing Director in 2024. He is responsible for managing existing and new fund launches, fundraising efforts for the firm’s real estate ventures, and investor relations. Previously, he was a Financial Advisor at Capital Financial Strategies, an independent firm in Jacksonville aligned with Cetera Financial Group that provides business owners and individuals with customized planning, investment, and insurance-related solutions.

Peter has over 30 years of experience he harnesses to help investors access and manage real estate investments sponsored by AmveStar. His experience includes wealth management, commercial real estate, hedge funds, P&C insurance, and executive positions at operating companies. Three roles in New York that have prepared him particularly well to assist investors include:

• Managing Director at a large private family office where he analyzed commercial real estate, amongst his other responsibilities.
• Managing Director at Banc of America Securities, where he spent five years running a team matching institutional investors with hedge fund manager clients.
• CFO of a leading maritime consulting firm where he purchased an office building in Manhattan for the firm’s owner. This included sourcing, financing, buying out tenants, renovating, and leasing space.

His career also includes analyzing private equity and hedge funds, as well as later being the primary contact for the delivery of wealth management services for PNC Financial Services in Palm Beach, where he was a Vice President & Senior Relationship Manager.

Peter earned an MBA in Finance & Insurance at St. John’s University School of Risk Management. He also earned a BS in Management from Georgia Tech, where he was Captain of the varsity tennis team.
